What is CAEA?
The California Art Education Association, in conjunction with the National Art Education Association, provides a wide variety of opportunities for members to grow professionally through events such as conferences; networking sessions with fellow educators from all over the state that offer the opportunity for thoughtful dialogue on topics of interest including classroom-, educational-, or art education advocacy-related questions; and online book club discussions. Additionally, CAEA offers student and professional development scholarships, the Youth Art Month program, and much more. Members include elementary, middle, and high school visual arts educators; college and university professors; researchers and scholars; teaching artists; administrators and supervisors; and art museum educators.
