CAEA Wildfire Relief Fund – Closing & Final Distribution
Dear CAEA Community,
As we officially close the CAEA Wildfire Relief Fund, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to
each and every one of you who contributed. Your generosity and compassion have made a
tangible impact, allowing us to provide meaningful support to art educators and schools affected
by the wildfires.
With the $1400 funds raised, the CAEA Council has determined the best way to maximize their
impact. We will be distributing Dick Blick gift cards to affected art educators, helping them
replenish essential classroom supplies. Additionally, we are offering scholarships for art
educators impacted by the fires to attend CAEA Area events free of charge, ensuring they
remain connected to valuable professional development and community support.
The schools identified to receive assistance include:
● Palisades Charter High School
● Marquez Charter Elementary School
● Eliot Arts Magnet Academy
● Edison Elementary School
● Franklin Elementary School
● Loma Alta Elementary School
● Noyes Elementary School
We recognize that recovery from such events is ongoing, and while this fund is closing, CAEA
remains committed to supporting educators and students in every way possible. If you have any
input or would like to be involved in the final distribution process, please don't hesitate to reach
out.
Once again, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to our
community. Your support has made a difference, and we are grateful to have such a dedicated
and compassionate membership.
In service and appreciation,
Anna Pilhoefer, President of CAEA
