Call for University Student Teaching Mentors

California State University, Long Beach
The School of Art at California State University, Long Beach is currently hiring part-time faculty to serve as Student Teaching Mentors for the 2024-2025 academic year. Have you considered serving as a University Mentor to help guide our next generation of Art Teachers? If you have a master’s degree and are a retired art teacher or a credentialed teacher with five years of experience and are not currently working in the classroom, you meet the qualifications. Serving as a university mentor for CSU Long Beach offers part-time work in our field with flexible hours and a high degree of autonomy.

We are currently recruiting University Mentors to serve the following areas:
 • San Bernardino (City)
 • Pomona
 • Whittier
 • North, East, and South Los Angeles
 • Downey
