Dear CAEA Friends,
Wow, that was incredible! On behalf of the CAEA leadership, we can't thank you enough for making this state conference one to remember. It reinforces how essential and supportive our art community is. Walking around, I observed new friendships forming, reconnecting with old ones, powerful and engaging workshops and presentations, community building, and an overall "I'm excited to be here" vibe. These sentiments filled my cup.

I've attended a few of these conferences, but this one felt extra special. My hope is we take the energy and momentum from this weekend and apply it to our work, classrooms, and communities. In our digital age, it's easy to become isolated and complacent. We are at a critical moment in history and need to rely on our community more than ever. Strength in numbers. When I joined the leadership team with CAEA, my primary intent was to help grow the organization through listening and being present - to connect with you.
